Stretch your chest muscles to promote an improved, upright posture of the upper spine


Exercise step by step

  1. Objective: Stretching the chest
    muscles to promote upright posture of
    the upper spine.
  2. Starting Position: Stand in a doorframe in a stepping position and with your right lower arm pressed against the doorframe at a 90° angle.
  3. Movement: Straighten your chest from your sternum, slowly leaning your entire body forwards until you feel a pull in the pectoral muscles. Hold this position for 20–30 seconds, then change sides.
    Repeat this exercise 3 times.
